Exclusively planted with noble grape varieties from Burgundy, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the vines of Domaine Goubard produce wines often awarded in professional competitions including the AOC Côte Chalonnaise with the renowned vineyard of Mont-Avril, which in its beautiful maturity offers small yields giving typically very fruity Burgundy wines.
Givry Village Blanc is a buttery white, rich and heady, fat and honeyed.
Givry Village Rouge is appreciated for its refined, fruity, light character. To drink at your convenience.
The Givry 1er Cru, often awarded in Mâcon, comes from a stony Jurassic terroir with a good south-east orientation which produces a tender Givry, full of finesse, with delicate aromas of red fruits and kirsh. A great Burgundy that can easily be kept for 10 to 15 years depending on the vintage.
